    Business Analyst

    Inzet: zowel parttime (3 dagen) alsook fulltime (40u) inzet is bespreekbaar
    Start:asap, in onderling overleg
    Duur : Eind september 2018 - met optie verlenging

    Role Description:
    The Business Analyst is responsible for working within the EMA Regional Delivery Center in reaching out to  stakeholders in our region to identify needs, translate these into actionable requirements and assist with the execution of them.

    Responsibilities and Tasks:

    The Business Analyst is a consultant to the corporates business (“customer”) who will apply facilitative, elicitation, analytical, writing and presentation skills to assist the customer in development of business requirements by:
    •    Identification, definition, and elaboration of a business need/demand or issue, which may often be high level, lacking in detail, and imprecisely understood. 
    •    Analysis of said business need/demand or issue and development of one or more alternative business solutions (recommended course of     action)
    •    To assist in the development and execution of regional surveys on various subjects such IT investments, IT maturity as well as the (IT) impact of legal changes. Tasks include:
        -    Further development of the existing surveys
        -    Streamlining the efficient completion of such surveys
        -    Communication with the country representatives for collating the results and assisting firms in completion the surveys
        -    Preparing the management and individual country reporting on the survey outcomes
    •    Documentation and presentation of the agreed solutions in a clear and unambiguous style, including:
        -    Concise statement of the business need
        -    Benefits or objectives of the solution
        -    Business, functional, non-functional, reporting, quality and performance requirements
        -    requirements, functional requirements, non-functional, business rules, relationships, processes and definitions
        -    Issues and risks
        -    Impacts to policies, organization structure, business processes, training, technical architecture and global IT strategy
    •    To achieve this the Business Analyst will develop and present artifacts/assets for each stakeholder group, including, but not limited to:
        -    Presentations and diagrams and other requirements documents  required to communicate the findings or solutions to other        delivery groups and the customer.

    Management and Competencies:
    •    Possess knowledge of techniques and deliverables for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among the business, processes, or    events within information technology and business delivery systems
    •    Ability to nurture and manage relationships across a matrix-based organization, including technical and non-technical audiences such as business leadership, customers, change and communication leads, training specialists and UAT analysts
    •    Understand the principles and practices involved in planning, managing, and implementing projects and programs
    •    Understand change management and business transformation principles
    •    Exceptional verbal, written and virtual communication skills. Business language is English
    •    Global mindset

    Working Environment:
    Travel:        0-25%

    Qualifications:
    •    5 years business experience focused on business, process or systems analysis and requirements management
    •    Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    •    Ability to act quickly on issues and requests associated with business needs
    •    Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and self-manage, work well under pressure meeting tight deadlines and possess     excellent interpersonal skills to work well with employees at all levels.
    •    Ability to handle multiple tasks and support special project needs simultaneously
    •    Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    •    Ability to determine appropriate escalation path
    •    Hands-on understanding of standards such as COBIT 5.0, ISO 27001 and preferably ITIL
    •    Strong experience with  MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio SharePoint, PowerPoint, preferably exposure to HP ALM/QC, JIRA and/or other     requirements and user story management solutions

    Education / Academics :
    •    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalent in computer science, business administration or related discipline
