    Senior Automation Engineer


    Start : Asap na gunning
    Duur : 6 maanden met optie verlenging
    Uren per week : 40 uur 
    Locatie : Regio A’dam (remote maar ook op locatie ! )

    Note : Beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift is een harde eis

    Responsibilities:
    • Drive technical discussions in the team and actively take part on all technical works: setting up, coding, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting;
    • Define development project scope and schedule;
    • Manage and proactively communicate risks and correct deviations from plans;
    • Gather requirements, design and propose infrastructure automation solutions to complement application systems to meet the business needs;
    • Prepare process to manage documentations: technical specifications/configurations and design documents/test plans/knowledgebase articles;
    • Contribute to mentoring and developing of team members;
    • Analyze the customer requirements to identify the solution that could fulfil their needs.

    The expectations are that the candidate is not only able to perform daily activities and address existing technical challenges, but is also willing to drive and introduce changes, proactively runs projects and empowers team members.

    Requirements :
    • Strong knowledge of Azure, in particular DevOps, IaC, PowerShell, Azure Functions and ARM templates, desired state configuration for IAAS, PAAS services hosted on cloud;
    • Understanding of technology architecture in an enterprise environment;
    • Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD Pipelines to automate builds and infra deployments using Azure DevOps;
    • Experience in deploying/maintaining infrastructure platforms & software solutions in Microsoft Azure;
    • Strong experience with scripting and automation;
    • Understanding and ability to drive SDLC process in the team (preferably software engineering background);
    • Preferably: broad exposure to Terraform
